Megan Carlier is the 2nd Place Winner of the 2011 Appalachian Classical Music Association-Sonata Festival Young Artist Competition.  The competition took place over the span of two days with 19 entrants.   She performed the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 33, I: Allegro non troppo.
