Ella Kromin
Early childhood music, Children's Choir Conductor, Voice
Ella Kromin received her Master of Music degree in performance and conducting from Odessa State Conservatory in the Ukraine. One of her major areas of specialization is working with children's choir. She taught choir conducting and choir history at Simferopol Music College in Crimea (Ukraine) from 1993 to 1995. In 1995 Ella moved to Israe, where she lived for three years and continued her musical education concentrating on early childhood music. In Israel she was a member of Tel-Aviv Chamber Choir. As a choir soprano, she performed with Zubin Meta and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. In the Tel-Aviv Opera, she participated in Zefirelli's production of Puccini's La Boheme. She has ten years of experience in teaching children. In September 2003, Ella joined the Renaissance Music Academy. She is also a faculty member in Virginia Tech's Fine Arts Initiative.
